SENSEI SAYS

On the recent visit to the Cooper Institute in Dallas, Texas for the ACMA Instructor Certification: "What a wonderful, uplifting experience I had going to the birthplace of aerobics. The ACMA and the Cooper Institute did a wonderful job in setting up a learning experience that will benefit our school for years to come. As instructors, and martial artists, we sometimes forget that we need to continue growing and learning ourselves, to be valuable sources of information to our students. I consider this certification as valuable, and meaningful, as my Black Belt certifications. If I can use half of the information to help others in the martial arts then the trip, the certification and the experience were invaluable."

In our classes we commonly have fun with everyone by asking that they don't say the word CAN'T. We'll stop the whole class and let everyone know that what's most important is not to give up, but to say TRY instead.

Our school philosophy is: "Never Ever Quit". Stated very simply this phrase bears a deeper meaning. Once you begin something, no matter how insignificant, do your best to see it through to the end.

And finally we consider all students to be Black Belts in training. That is why our logo contains the phrase Black Belt Training. This reminds us everyday what our ultimate goal is in the martial arts. If we don't know where we're headed we will never arrive.
